Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (Captain) is responsible for flying jump operations in Cessna 182 aircraft, safely transporting skydivers to altitude. This role is ideal for low-time pilots looking to build hours in a hands-on flying environment.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command for skydiving operations
• Safely transport jumpers to altitude in Cessna 182 aircraft
• Conduct preflight planning and ensure aircraft readiness
• Maintain compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards
• Monitor weather and operational conditions during flights
• Operate within a flexible schedule including weekends (9am–sunset) and some weekday evenings (3pm–sunset)
Requirements
• FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
• Minimum 200 hours PIC
• Strong safety awareness and decision-making skills
