Position Summary

The Flight Instructor provides structured flight, ground, and simulator training to Cirrus customers while supporting Part 91 operations including demonstration, ferry, and training flights. Training is conducted in Cirrus SR series aircraft following a standardized training program.


Responsibilities
  • Provide flight and ground instruction in accordance with Cirrus training programs and FAA regulations
  • Act as Pilot in Command during training, demonstration, and repositioning flights
  • Maintain accurate student training records and track progression
  • Conduct preflight planning and aircraft inspections
  • Assess student performance and recommend FAA testing readiness
  • Deliver professional customer service and maintain safety standards

Requirements
  • FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
  • FAA Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII)
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate – Single Engine Land
  • Instrument Rating
  • FAA Second Class Medical Certificate or higher
  • Minimum 1 year pilot experience
  • 750 dual given hours or 500 dual given hours in Cirrus aircraft

  • Experience in congested airspace, IMC, mountain flying, or international operations
