Position Summary
The Light Twin Instructor Pilot provides flight instruction and check rides in multi-engine and single-engine aircraft, supporting FAA training programs and maintaining high safety and training standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide flight training in PA-44 and Cessna 172 aircraft
- Conduct pre- and post-flight briefings
- Perform instructional duties with emphasis on safety
- Act as PIC while applying CRM principles
- Maintain aircraft systems and procedural knowledge
- Complete required flight documentation
- Support recurrent and currency training programs
Requirements
- CFI, CFII, and MEI required
- 400 total flight hours
- 200 PIC hours
- 100 multi-engine hours
- 50 multi-engine dual given
- Recent flight instruction experience (within 24 months)
- Second Class Medical
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain FAA security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Garmin G500/G1000 experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
