Hi, my name is Kyoung Nam Kim (Kenneth). I am a dedicated aviation professional with approximately 1,700 flight hours and extensive experience as a CFI/CFII and Check Airman. Through flight instruction and evaluation roles, I have developed strong skills in leadership, communication, safety culture, and mentoring pilots across different stages of training.

I am now ready to take the next step in my aviation career and seeking an organization where I can continue to grow, contribute, and build long-term success together. Bachelor of Science January 3, 2019 - December 17, 2022 I studied Aeronautical Science with Flight at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. This experience provided me with strong professional knowledge, technical skills, and the mindset required in the aviation industry. Throughout the program, I developed a solid foundation in aerodynamics, weather, aircraft systems, aviation safety, human factors, and aviation business. In addition, I received high-quality flight training through Florida Tech Aviation and progressed from Private Pilot training through Certified Flight Instructor certification.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Master's January 5, 2026 - Present I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Aviation Safety at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). Through this program, I continue to expand my understanding of aviation safety and strengthen my interest in safety management, human factors, and continuous improvement within the aviation industry.
