Position Summary

Walmart is seeking a Chief Pilot – Medium Range to lead corporate aviation flight operations while serving as Captain, overseeing crew performance, supporting operational planning, and promoting a strong aviation safety culture.


Responsibilities

• Operate as Captain on medium-range flight operations
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs
• Lead and mentor aviation crews and operational teams
• Conduct domestic and international flight planning
• Analyze weather, fuel, routing, and operational risks
• Support development and improvement of SOPs
• Conduct crew debriefings and performance coaching
• Coordinate maintenance and operational support activities
• Promote operational efficiency and continuous improvement


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in management-related discipline or related field OR 3 years supervisory experience as Chief Pilot or aviation management role
• ATP Certificate with Multi-Engine Land rating and English proficiency endorsement
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Valid passport
• Jet type rating required
• 2,000 total flight hours
• 1,000 turbine hours
• 500 PIC hours
• Strong FAA regulatory and operational knowledge
• Strong leadership and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

• 3,500 total flight hours
• 1,000 jet hours
• 1,000 PIC hours
• 10 years corporate or military aviation experience
• Multiple jet type ratings preferred

Compensation

$160,000 – $320,000 annually.
