I am a proud University of North Dakota graduate with a B.S. in Commercial Aviation. I hold a Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot Certificate as well as a Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) Certificate. Currently, I am employed at UND as a Certified Flight Instructor, where I train the next generation of aviators in both technical skills and safety-minded decision-making. I also conduct stage checks for private, commercial, and instrument pilot applicants, evaluating flight proficiency, decision-making, and adherence to FAA standards.

Advanced Aircraft Operation- A320 Jet Transition Course
January 19, 2026 Received training in the ALSIM A320-Airline simulator, developing a detailed understanding of aircraft operations, advanced systems, and flight controls while functioning as part of a crew in busy airspace. Built skills to solve complex aircraft and aviation-related problems and applied management principles to operate the aircraft effectively in a multi-crew environment. Gained experience using dispatch releases, checklists, and cockpit flows in a multi-engine turbine aircraft, while also practicing abnormal and emergency procedures, including engine fires and V1 cuts.
Hypoxia Awareness – UND Altitude Chamber
October 16, 2023 Gained experience recognizing my hypoxia symptoms in the University of North Dakota's altitude chamber. While also gaining experience in explosive decompression training and spatial disorientation.
