Position Summary

Premier Private Jets is seeking a Chief Pilot to oversee Part 135 flight operations across a mixed fleet of Hawker and Citation aircraft while managing pilot standardization, regulatory compliance, operational performance, and flight crew leadership.


Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to company pilots
• Manage pilot performance, accountability, and professionalism
• Ensure compliance with FAA and Part 135 regulations
• Maintain pilot qualifications and operational records
• Coordinate initial, recurrent, and upgrade training
• Support scheduling, staffing, and operational continuity
• Promote operational safety and risk mitigation
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention initiatives
• Coordinate with maintenance, scheduling, safety, training, and executive leadership
• Support operational planning and strategic growth initiatives


Requirements

• Meet 14 CFR Part 119.69 Chief Pilot requirements
• 8,000 total flight hours
• 3,500 PIC hours
• FAA ATP Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Strong knowledge of Part 135 regulations
• 3 years supervisory or management experience in Part 135 operations
• No accidents, incidents, violations, or DUI/DWI history
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must reside within one hour of Stuart, Florida or relocate


Preferred Qualifications

• Mixed-fleet standardization experience preferred
• HS-125 type rating preferred
• CE-500 type rating preferred
