Position Summary

Eastern Airlines is seeking B777 Captains to oversee safe and compliant widebody airline operations while leading flight crews during domestic and international Part 121 operations.

Schedule

Minimum guarantee of 72 hours per month. Schedule awarded by seniority.


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command during assigned flight operations
• Ensure safe operation of aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo
• Conduct operational decision-making regarding routing, weather, and aircraft performance
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, SOPs, OpSpecs, and company manuals
• Supervise and coordinate First Officer and flight crew duties
• Review flight planning, weather, fuel loads, and aircraft status
• Ensure proper aircraft documentation and manifests are completed
• Coordinate with System Operations Control (SOC) during flight operations
• Ensure passenger briefings and aircraft readiness requirements are met
• Maintain accurate operational records and flight time reporting


Requirements

• 7,000 total flight hours
• 2,000 PIC hours on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial aircraft
• Previous widebody PIC experience
• Minimum 1,000 hours Part 121 flight time
• FAA ATP Certificate
• FAA Class One Medical Certificate
• Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Valid U.S. Passport
• ICAO English Level 4 proficiency
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass DOT drug testing and CHRC background checks
• Must meet FAR 121.436 requirements


Preferred Qualifications

• Boeing 767 or Boeing 777 PIC experience preferred
