Position Summary

The Second-in-Command supports charter jet operations while assisting the Pilot in Command with safe and efficient aircraft operations, flight preparation, regulatory compliance, and customer-focused flight services.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned SIC flight duties
• Adhere to FAA regulations and company procedures
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and General Operations Manual
• Support customer flight schedules
• Ensure aircraft safety and operational efficiency
• Maintain aircraft cleanliness and provisioning
• Review weather and operational conditions
• Prepare flight plans, weight and balance calculations, fuel planning, and performance charts

Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
• Single-Engine Rating
• Multi-Engine Rating
• Instrument Rating
• 1,000+ Total Flight Hours
• 500+ PIC Hours
• Strong knowledge of flight operations
• Ability to relocate within 1 hour of Spirit of St. Louis Airport
• Strong communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• ATP Certificate preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 150 Multi-Engine Hours preferred
• Charter or corporate aviation experience preferred
