Gateway Youth Aeronautical Foundation Class lead instructor
June 2, 2026 The Gateway Youth Aeronautical Foundation (GYAF) is a mission to inspire youth interest in aviation. Young kids/adults ages 14-25 can take this class to get an introduction to aviation, how it works, and the basics of flight though an 8 week course. I took this class when I was 14, and I am now an 18 year old CFI. I have given back to the program and have volunteered almost every week for the past few months. The owner has promoted me to the classes lead instructor this summer for the upcoming introduction to flight class. I am very excited to continue giving my time back to other young kids who are just as interested in aviation as I am.
EAA Young Eagles Volunteer Pilot
December 17, 2025 Currently an EAA Young Eagles Pilot which involves volunteering my time and money to take kids and adults on there very first airplane ride or as an introductory lesson flight. I have participated in 3 Young Eagles rallies so far and flown a total of 6 kids. Being able to give the gift of flight to other young kids and adults is truly amazing and I have loved every one of those flights. They are some of my favorite flights ever. The experience to give the gift of flight is incredible!
