Description

Position Summary

Seeking an EMB-120 First Officer to serve as Second in Command (SIC) on on-demand cargo operations. This position supports the Pilot in Command during all phases of flight and must be prepared to assume PIC duties should the PIC become incapacitated.


Responsibilities

• Report directly to the assigned Pilot in Command during flight operations
• Carry out duties assigned by the Pilot in Command
• Monitor and assist with passenger and cargo loading operations
• Ensure cargo and support equipment are properly secured in accordance with company procedures
• Comply with TSA Twelve-Five Standard Security Program requirements
• Prepare aircraft weight and balance calculations
• Review and prepare aircraft performance calculations
• Obtain weather information and ATC clearances
• Assist the Pilot in Command during flight operations
• Remain on-call and able to report to the assigned aircraft within 60 minutes
• Complete all required company training and testing programs
• Perform additional duties as assigned


Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Instrument Privileges
• 500 Total Flight Hours in Airplanes
• 25 Multi-Engine Flight Hours in Airplanes
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit (or ability to obtain)
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Relocation within 30 minutes of domicile required
• Ability to travel away from domicile for extended periods
• High School Diploma


Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Multi-Engine ATP Certificate
• 1,000 Total Flight Hours in Airplanes
• 100 Multi-Engine Flight Hours in Airplanes
• Undergraduate Degree
