Description
Position Summary
Seeking an E145 First Officer to support safe and efficient flight operations throughout the Caribbean region. The First Officer is directly responsible to the Pilot-in-Command for assisting with all phases of flight, ensuring compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations, and assuming command responsibilities when required.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft
• Carry out duties assigned by the Captain during all phases of flight
• Maintain required licenses and ratings for assigned aircraft operations
• Assume command responsibilities in the absence of the Captain
• Review operational notices, flight crew instructions, and flight documentation
• Assist with flight planning, flight logs, and ATC flight plan filing
• Verify required charts, manuals, and dispatch documents are onboard
• Assist in managing aircraft operations during flight
• Utilize approved checklists and operating procedures
• Maintain accurate flight logs, fuel records, and ATC clearance documentation
• Maintain vigilance for collision avoidance and operational safety
• Communicate company and operational information as required
• Assist in securing the aircraft following flight operations
• Complete and return required post-flight documentation
• Report operational occurrences and relay information to Operations Control
Requirements
• Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
• Valid Instrument Rating
• Current license endorsed for Group I or Group II aircraft as assigned
• License must remain current and be carried during all flight operations
• Thorough knowledge of flight operations, aviation regulations, and company procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making abilities
• Ability to effectively assist during routine and emergency operations
