Description
Position Summary
Seeking an E145 Pilot-in-Command to lead safe and efficient flight operations throughout the Caribbean region. The Commander holds ultimate responsibility for the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company requirements during every phase of flight.
Responsibilities
• Maintain overall responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft
• Ensure the safety, security, and comfort of passengers and crew
• Maintain operational control and compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations
• Conduct passenger announcements and communicate operational information
• Verify crew qualifications, licenses, travel documents, and fitness for duty
• Operate the aircraft within certified limitations and approved procedures
• Maintain flight deck security and equipment serviceability
• Report incidents, emergencies, and hazards as required
• Verify aircraft airworthiness and regulatory compliance before departure
• Review weather, NOTAMs, routing, alternates, and flight plans
• Conduct required aircraft inspections
• Ensure aircraft loading, weight, and balance requirements are met
• Complete and maintain required pre-flight documentation
• Maintain situational awareness throughout all phases of flight
• Monitor aircraft performance and discontinue flight operations when safety is compromised
• Submit arrival reports and complete aircraft technical logs
• Ensure aircraft security during overnight stops
• Report aircraft defects and operational occurrences within required timeframes
Requirements
• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) appropriate to aircraft type operated
• Current medical certification meeting company and regulatory requirements
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft performance, aviation regulations, and emergency procedures
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and crew management skills
• Familiarity with ECCAA regulations and company operations manuals
• Must meet company and regulatory minimum flight hour and command experience requirements
