Description

Position Summary

Seeking a Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) Entry to provide rotary-wing flight and instrument instruction for military flight training operations. This position is responsible for teaching, coaching, and mentoring student pilots while maintaining the highest standards of safety and training excellence.


Responsibilities

• Provide rotary-wing flight and instrument instruction to student pilots
• Coach and mentor students through military flight training programs
• Maintain a safety-first approach during all training operations
• Conduct instrument flight training and evaluations
• Prepare and maintain required training documentation and records
• Support operational and flight training requirements as assigned
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety programs
• Participate in additional operational duties as required


Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
• FAA Flight Instructor Certificate with Rotorcraft Helicopter and Instrument Helicopter Ratings

OR

• Graduate of a Department of Defense Rotary Wing Instructor Pilot Course
• Minimum 500 Hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 150 Hours Instructor Time
• Minimum 75 Hours combined hooded instrument, simulator instrument, or weather flight time
• Previous experience instructing instrument flight training students
• Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• U.S. Citizenship required


Preferred Qualifications

• Military rotary-wing instructional experience
• Advanced helicopter instructional experience
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
