As an Airline Transport Pilot with more than 32 years of accident-free experience, 18,900 total flight hours, and 18,200 hours on jet aircraft (Airbus), I bring a strong record of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. My qualifications include the Airbus A320, A330, and A340, and I hold a U.S. ATP (multi-engine) certificate, First Class medical and Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
My career has taken me across five continents —North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Africa — operating in diverse weather, terrain, and airspace environments. I have flown international routes carrying a wide range of passengers, including heads of state and other high-ranking officials. I am proud to have maintained an unblemished safety record, successfully completed IOSA audits, and executed demanding operational maneuvers, such as challenging crosswind landings in Narita, Japan.
In addition to my operational experience, I have a strong background in training and standards. I served as Chief Ground Instructor for over three years, and as a Flight Instructor at the Asian Aviation Center, Sri Lanka. I accumulated more than 450 instructional hours. I have successfully trained 40–50 students, consistently achieving high pass rates. My MBA from the University of Bedfordshire, UK further enhances my leadership, communication, and decision-making skills in high-stakes environments.
