Description
Position Summary
Seeking a Pilot in Command (PIC) to conduct Part 135 charter operations throughout the Southeast. This position is responsible for safe and efficient flight operations, regulatory compliance, customer service, and sound aeronautical decision-making while supporting a growing charter operation.
Responsibilities
• Conduct Part 135 charter flights in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Exercise sound aeronautical decision-making and risk management
• Maintain compliance with all applicable FAA and company requirements
• Demonstrate strong Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills
• Deliver exceptional customer service to charter clients
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
• Support safe and efficient flight operations in a variety of operating environments
Requirements
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
• Current FAA Medical Certificate (Class I or II as appropriate)
• 1,200 Total Flight Hours
• 500 Hours Cross-Country Time
• 100 Hours Retractable Gear Time
• 100 Hours Night Time
• 100 Hours IMC Time (Simulated and Actual; Actual Preferred)
• Meet all applicable 14 CFR Part 135 requirements
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Clean FAA record
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol testing
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must live within driving distance of a company pilot base
• Commitment to providing personalized customer service
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous Part 135 experience
• Previous Part 91 experience
• Multi-engine flight time
• MEI Certificate
• Piper Saratoga experience
• Piper Malibu experience
• Piper Navajo experience
• Experience operating in busy terminal environments
• Experience operating in non-towered airport environments
