Description
Position Summary
Seeking a Second in Command (SIC) to support Citation Sovereign operations in a well-established Part 135 flight department. This position is responsible for assisting the Pilot in Command with the safe and efficient conduct of flight operations while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
• Perform SIC duties in accordance with company manuals, FAA regulations, Operations Specifications, and Flight Manuals
• Support the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights
• Assist the PIC with duties assigned during flight assignments
• Maintain compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS)
• Report safety, security, and quality concerns through appropriate channels
• Ensure cabin cleanliness and aircraft readiness following each flight
• Remove debris, catering items, and other materials from the aircraft after flights
• Report aircraft interior discrepancies to the PIC
• Coordinate and obtain catering and cabin service items as required
• Deliver exceptional customer service to passengers
• Coordinate schedules and schedule changes with the Chief Pilot
• Log and report flight and duty times accurately
• Maintain required training and qualifications
• Maintain and provide a current First Class Medical Certificate as required
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Previous Part 135 experience
• Ability to obtain a Citation Sovereign type rating if not currently typed
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a dynamic regulatory environment
• Strong customer service skills
• 2,500 Hours Total Flight Time
• 500 Hours Multi-Engine Land
• 500 Hours Pilot in Command
• 150 Hours Instrument Time
• 250 Hours Jet Time
• 100 Hours Turbine Time
Preferred Qualifications
• Local candidate preference
• Previous Citation Sovereign experience
• Existing FAA type rating
