Description
Position Summary
The BHH Pilot is responsible for conducting safe, efficient, and professional helicopter flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and aircraft operating limitations. This position supports commercial helicopter operations while ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
• Operate aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and approved flight manuals
• Verify required aircraft documents and equipment are onboard prior to flight
• Review aircraft maintenance records and ensure airworthiness
• Conduct preflight inspections in accordance with company policy and aircraft flight manuals
• Ensure aircraft loading remains within weight and balance limitations
• Review weather, NOTAMs, PIREPs, and other operational information prior to flight
• Conduct passenger safety briefings and emergency procedure briefings
• File company or FAA flight plans for all assigned flights
• Maintain required pilot certificates, medical certificates, and identification
• Successfully complete required flight checks and proficiency requirements
• Promote safe flight operations and exceptional customer service
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Commercial Pilot Certificate – Helicopter Instrument Rating
• Current Class II Medical Certificate
• Valid Government ID or Driver’s License
• Minimum 500 Hours Turbine Time
• Ability to pass TSA/FBI background check
• Participation in FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
• 2,500 Hours Pilot-in-Command Time (documented and verifiable)
• Previous experience in similar helicopter operations environments
