Description

Position Summary

The Captain Aviation serves as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and holds final authority and responsibility for the safe operation of company aircraft. This position oversees flight crew activities, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports executive aviation operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command for company flight operations
• Maintain final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with FAR 91.3
• Direct and supervise flight crew activities
• Ensure assigned aircraft is airworthy and properly documented
• Make operational decisions regarding flight delays, cancellations, and route deviations
• Conduct flight planning and operational briefings
• Prepare or supervise flight plans, weight and balance calculations, and performance planning
• Monitor weather and operational conditions to ensure safe flight operations
• Ensure passenger briefings are completed for all phases of flight
• Verify emergency equipment, cargo security, and passenger comfort provisions are onboard
• Coordinate maintenance reporting and aircraft discrepancy resolution
• Ensure aircraft cleanliness and readiness for flight operations
• Support additional flight department responsibilities as assigned


Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years Relevant Aviation Experience
• Minimum 3,000 Hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 2,500 Hours Multi-Engine Jet Time
• Experience operating large-cabin aircraft
• Experience with advanced electronic and digital avionics cockpits
• Ability to obtain or hold a type rating in company aircraft
• No FAA violations or at-fault accidents/incidents


Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Current qualification in company aircraft
• Previous VVIP Flight Operations Experience
• Previous Resort or Hospitality Aviation Experience
