Description

Position Summary

The CRJ Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational reliability. As Pilot in Command, the Captain has primary responsibility for all phases of flight, supervises flight crew members, and ensures compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company procedures.


Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft
• Complete all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and company procedures
• Supervise and support flight crew members during all phases of flight
• Ensure crew compliance with Transport Canada regulations, standards, and company policies
• Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and operational performance
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot


Requirements

• Minimum 4,000 Hours Total Flight Time
• Minimum 500 Hours Propeller Time
• Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
• Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate
• Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security Clearance
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Ability to operate domestically, trans-border, and internationally without restriction
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work irregular schedules, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
