Position Summary

The First Officer supports the Captain in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of aircraft. This role involves assisting in all phases of flight while maintaining adherence to FAA regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Captain in safe and timely operation of the aircraft
• Perform preflight planning using weather data, NOTAMs, and operational reports
• Conduct preflight inspections and ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Execute all phases of flight in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Maintain communication with crew, passengers, and ATC regarding flight conditions
• Assist with passenger, baggage, and cargo handling while on the ground
• Support on-time performance and operational reliability
• Operate within a variable schedule including nights, weekends, overnights, and extended duty periods

Requirements

• Must meet ATP or R-ATP minimum requirements
• ATP written preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to meet FAA and company hiring minimums
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in high-stress and dynamic environments
