Position Summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Lear 45 Captain responsible for safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations while supporting passenger, crew, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely completion of flight operations in accordance with company policies and FARs
• Determine aircraft airworthiness and evaluate weather, field conditions, and navigational factors prior to flight
• Operate aircraft according to company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations
• Supervise assigned crewmembers and monitor enroute performance
• Maintain proficiency in aircraft systems and operational procedures
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
• Review departure, arrival, and alternate weather conditions before each flight
• Ensure proper flight planning and fuel requirements
• Assist with handling passengers, baggage, cargo, and aircraft when required
• Communicate turbulence, weather, and operational updates to passengers and crew
• Assess operational risk and maintain safe operating standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the company

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years old at time of hire
• FAA Unrestricted ATP Certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating required
• Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate required
• Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit required
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required
• Valid passport required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test
• Must pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and Breeze background check
• Must be actively flying two of the past five years
• Must maintain FAA Pilot Records Database compliance
• Must have 2,500+ total time excluding simulator and flight engineer time
• Must have 1,000 fixed wing PIC hours
• Must have 1,000 fixed wing multi-engine hours
• Must have 500 fixed wing jet hours
• Must have 500 multicrew hours
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English required

Preferred Qualifications

• Lear 45 Type Rating preferred
• Lear 45 Captain experience preferred
• Previous Part 135 or Part 121 experience preferred
