Position Summary

Wasaya Airways is seeking a PC12 Captain based in Thunder Bay or Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Pilots are responsible for safe aircraft operations supporting scheduled and charter services throughout Northern Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate company aircraft
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
• Analyze weather conditions and flight plans
• Ensure safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft
• Calculate fuel and manage aircraft systems
• Complete required flight documentation
• Maintain company customer care standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2,000 flight hours
• Valid Transport Canada Commercial License
• Valid Transport Canada Instrument Rating
• Valid Transport Canada Category 1 Medical
• Canadian Passport or Permanent Resident Card
• Must be able to obtain a RAIC
• Must be eligible for TSA approval for simulator training
• Travel required
• Weekend and evening work required
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Current PC12 PPC preferred
• Previous PC12 experience preferred
• ATPL preferred
• 500 PIC preferred
• 100 hours on type preferred
• Two crew turbine experience preferred
• Northern gravel operational experience preferred
• Two years IFR operations experience preferred
• Aviation College degree or diploma preferred
