Description
Position Summary
The C208 Floater Captain serves as Pilot in Command for cargo operations aboard the Cessna 208 Caravan. The position supports both Part 121 and Part 135 operations and requires pilots to travel from their home airport to weekly work assignments as needed. The role is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of cargo while maintaining compliance with company procedures and FAA regulations.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command during cargo flight operations
• Conduct safe and efficient flight operations under company procedures and FAA regulations
• Travel from home airport to assigned weekly duty locations as required
• Maintain IFR proficiency and currency
• Ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance
• Support cargo transportation throughout assigned route structures
Requirements
• Commercial Pilot Certificate – Single Engine Land
• FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
• IFR Proficiency and Currency
Flight Experience
• 1,200 Hours Total Flight Time
• 500 Hours PIC
• 500 Hours Cross-Country
• 100 Hours Night
• 75 Hours Instrument (50 Hours Actual Flight)
Preferred Qualifications
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate for International Operations and Certain Florida Bases
