Position Summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G550 Second-in-Command to support corporate flight operations based at KOAK while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.

Schedule

On-call schedule based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support safe operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft
• Conduct pre-flight inspections in accordance with approved flight manuals
• Review aircraft maintenance status before flight operations
• Review weather, routing, and alternate airport planning
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Maintain safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft
• Complete trip paperwork and operational documentation accurately

Requirements

• 1,000 total flight hours
• 500 PIC hours
• 500 multi-engine hours
• 100 multi-engine PIC hours
• 100 turbine jet hours
• 75 instrument hours
• First Class Medical Certificate
• Type rating in Gulfstream G550 or comparable aircraft
• Ability to complete annual ICAO international procedures training
• Ability to work on an on-call basis
• Must reside within 2 hours of KOAK or relocate

Preferred Qualifications

• Gulfstream G550 type rating preferred
• Comparable large cabin jet experience preferred

Compensation

$50,000 – $500,000 annually depending on experience, aircraft assignment, duties, and geographic location.
