Description

Position Summary

Seeking a Learjet Second in Command (SIC) to support safe and efficient flight operations while assisting the Pilot in Command during all phases of flight. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, professionalism, and exceptional passenger service.


Responsibilities

• Assist the PIC with all phases of flight planning and execution
• Operate aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, aircraft limitations, and company procedures
• Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including inspections, checklist completion, and documentation
• Monitor aircraft systems, weather, air traffic, and surrounding conditions
• Maintain communication with PIC, crew members, dispatch, and ground personnel
• Assist with maintaining aircraft readiness and reporting maintenance needs
• Support compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS)
• Participate in recurrent training, proficiency checks, and safety briefings
• Provide professional and courteous service to passengers and clients
• Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and a professional corporate aviation presence


Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land (AMEL)
• FAA First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate
• 1,100 Total Flight Hours
• Instrument Rating with demonstrated IFR proficiency
• Ability to pass background, drug testing, and PRIA checks
• Valid Passport with ability to travel internationally
• Safety-focused mindset
• Strong situational awareness
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operational needs


Preferred Qualifications

• Learjet Type Rating (LR60, LR45, LR35/36)
• Previous Part 91 experience
• Previous Part 135 experience
• ATP Certificate
• ATP-CTP Completion
• Experience in business aviation
• Experience in charter aviation
• Strong CRM and decision-making skills
