Description
Position Summary
Seeking an Aviation Captain to serve as Pilot in Command for corporate flight operations supporting executive travel. This position is responsible for the safe operation of company aircraft, flight crew leadership, passenger safety, flight planning, and ensuring compliance with all applicable aviation regulations and company procedures.
Responsibilities
• Conduct flight operations in accordance with international, federal, state, local, and company regulations
• Serve as Pilot in Command for corporate aviation operations
• Supervise flight crew members during flight operations
• Ensure the safety, security, and comfort of passengers
• Perform flight planning and brief the First Officer on weather and operational considerations
• Ensure aircraft are properly cleaned, stocked, and prepared for flight
• Verify required certificates, manuals, and documentation are onboard
• Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles throughout all phases of flight
• Solicit feedback from crewmembers and passengers to improve operations
• Maintain compliance with company aviation policies and FAA regulations
• Participate in annual operational effectiveness reviews and recurrent training
• Assist with baggage loading and unloading as needed
• Perform Second-in-Command duties when required by scheduling
• Maintain required licenses, certificates, and flight proficiency
• Support administrative projects, reports, studies, and operational initiatives
• Assist with process improvements and departmental productivity enhancements
Requirements
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate issued within the preceding 12 months
• FCC Aircraft Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• 3,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,000 Pilot-in-Command Hours
• 500 Multi-Engine Jet Hours
• 500 Multi-Engine Jet Hours within the previous two years
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and aviation directives
Preferred Qualifications
• Aircraft Type Rating in the assigned aircraft
• Associate’s Degree
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 250 Hours in Type (required for promotion from First Officer to Captain)
