Description
Position Summary
The Captain serves as Pilot in Command for domestic and international Part 91 corporate flight operations. The role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety, operational excellence, leadership, and passenger service while supporting a Safety Management System and a global corporate aviation operation.
Responsibilities
• Serve as Pilot in Command on domestic and international Part 91 operations
• Maintain responsibility for passenger, crew, and aircraft safety
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, international requirements, and company SOPs
• Lead, mentor, and support flight crew members
• Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) reporting and risk management initiatives
• Conduct comprehensive pre-flight planning and operational decision-making
• Provide executive-level customer service and professionalism
• Support continuous improvement and safety culture initiatives
Requirements
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate – Multiengine
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• 3,000+ Hours Total Time
• 2,000+ Hours Jet Time
• Minimum one jet type rating
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to reside within one hour of Rochester International Airport (KROC)
• Ability to complete background investigation and pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to be away from home for extended periods supporting domestic and international operations
Preferred Qualifications
• Gulfstream G280 Type Rating
• Gulfstream G600 Type Rating
• International flight experience
• Experience in IS-BAO environments
• Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
• Previous flight instruction experience
• Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
• Approved simulator training within the previous 12 months in the aircraft type rated aircraft
