Position Summary

J.M. Smucker is seeking a Corporate Pilot to support domestic and international Part 91 flight operations while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transportation for company personnel and guests.

Schedule

Predictable weekend and holiday on-call rotation. Approximately 250–300 flight hours annually.


Responsibilities

• Conduct safe and efficient domestic and international flight operations
• Maintain aircraft airworthiness and operational readiness
• Research weather conditions and file IFR flight plans
• Support pre-flight and post-flight procedures
• Ensure compliance with FAA, ICAO, and company regulations
• Coordinate fuel procurement, aircraft security, and passenger operations
• Complete required flight and operational documentation
• Promote a strong culture of safety and professionalism


Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2,000 total flight hours
• 500 hours in multi-engine turbojet or turboprop aircraft
• Multi-crew flight environment experience
• ATP Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to reside within one hour of Akron-Canton Airport


Preferred Qualifications

• 3,500 total flight hours
• 1,000 PIC hours in a multi-crew environment
• 1,000 hours in multi-engine turbine aircraft
• DA-EASY or DA-2EASY type rating
• FCC Radio Telephone Operator Permit
