Description
Position Summary
The Flight Instructor/Pilot provides ground and flight instruction in the Epic E1000 while supporting corporate flight missions, post-maintenance flights, aircraft deliveries, and other flight department operations. Initial Epic Factory Training is provided at no cost.
Schedule
• Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Occasional weekends and event support as needed
Responsibilities
• Provide standardized initial and recurrent ground and flight instruction to E1000 pilots
• Act as Pilot in Command on corporate flight missions
• Conduct repositioning, ferry, internal training, post-maintenance, and delivery acceptance flights
• Maintain communication with clients before and after training events
• Escalate client and internal issues as appropriate
• Facilitate resolution of discrepancies on newly delivered and corporate aircraft
• Operate aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies
• Perform preflight preparation, including weather assessments
• Make and communicate timely safety-of-flight decisions
• Complete required flight and travel documentation
• Maintain extensive aircraft knowledge and serve as a company representative
• Support airshows and sales events as needed
• Conduct presentations for internal and external customers
• Support special projects and assignments as requested
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and work experience
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certificate
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) Certificate
• Commercial Pilot Certificate – ASEL
• Instrument Airplane Rating
• Current First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate
• 1,500 hours total time
• 750 hours authorized instructor time
• IFR current
• No violations
• Detailed knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, ATC procedures, and aircraft systems
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

• Turbine aircraft experience in IFR operations
• Mountain flying experience
• Extensive IMC experience
• Night flying experience
• Military flight instruction experience
• Part 142 instruction experience
• Part 141 instruction experience
• General aviation instruction experience
• Turboprop instruction experience

• Advanced avionics instruction experience (G1000 NXi)
• Simulator or training device instruction experience
• Corporate flight experience
• Microsoft Office Suite experience
