About the Company

Arizona Flight Training Center (AFTC) is a professional flight training organization offering both Part 141 and Part 61 programs. The school provides a structured yet flexible training environment, allowing instructors to stay active, build hours, and grow into additional opportunities including management and Part 135 operations.

Position Summary

The Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII) provides flight and ground instruction in a professional training environment while supporting student progression across multiple certification levels. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with strong hour-building potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide flight and ground instruction under Part 141 and Part 61 programs
• Ensure all training is conducted safely and in compliance with FAA regulations
• Support student progression through various certifications and ratings
• Maintain accurate training records and student performance
• Deliver professional instruction while maintaining strong customer service standards
• Operate within a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time) while maintaining availability

Requirements

• Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
• CFII preferred
• 750 total flight hours or 400 dual given
• Strong computer and customer service skills
• Experience in Cessna aircraft preferred
• Experience in Part 141 environment preferred
