Position Summary

Northern Jet is seeking a Part-Time Pilot Training Instructor to support pilot indoctrination, recurrent training, standardization, and pilot development initiatives while helping maintain operational excellence and safety culture throughout the organization.

Schedule

Part-time flexible schedule with a maximum of 30 hours per week.


Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and recurrent company indoctrination training
• Support pilot standardization and compliance initiatives
• Assist with simulator evaluations and pilot assessments
• Support interview and evaluation processes for pilot candidates
• Maintain operational and training excellence
• Mentor and develop pilots within the organization
• Collaborate with leadership and flight crews on training initiatives


Requirements

• Residence in or near Orlando, Florida
• Minimum 5 years professional pilot experience
• Part 91 and/or Part 135 operational experience
• Part 135 operational experience required
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and training standards
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• High school diploma or equivalent


Preferred Qualifications

• Prior training instructor, check airman, or mentor pilot experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation or related field preferred
• Prior pilot training, compliance, or safety program experience preferred
