Description

Position Summary

Seeking a Part-Time Second in Command (SIC) to support simulator-based training operations for customer pilots in multi-crew aircraft programs. This position serves as a qualified SIC during recurrent, initial, and generic training courses while maintaining currency and qualifications in assigned aircraft programs.


Responsibilities

• Act as Second in Command for customer pilots participating in multi-crew training programs
• Serve as a competent SIC for customers who attend training without a flying partner
• Maintain SIC qualifications in assigned aircraft programs
• Maintain qualifications in accordance with company Quality Management System procedures
• Keep all required certificates, ratings, and designations current
• Act as SIC in Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA client training environments as required


Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category, class, and instrument ratings
• Minimum 450 flight hours
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Strong cockpit communication skills
• Ability to work professionally with customers
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations

• Second language proficiency may be beneficial depending on training center requirements
