Description

Position Summary

Seeking a Pilot / Mission Specialist to operate Cessna aircraft and collect aerial data using advanced onboard sensor systems. This position supports aerial survey and mapping missions while ensuring the highest standards of safety, data quality, and regulatory compliance.


Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft during aerial survey missions
• Operate and maintain onboard sensor systems
• Collect aerial data for client projects
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Communicate effectively with management and team members
• Participate in training and professional development activities
• Maintain precise flight profiles to support data quality objectives


Requirements

• FAA Pilot Certificate
• FAA Medical Certificate
• Single-Engine Land (SEL) Rating
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL) Rating
• Instrument Rating
• First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate
• High Performance Endorsement
• Complex Airplane Endorsement
• 250–500 Flight Hours
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with ATC, sensor operators, and ground personnel
• Ability to travel up to 25 days per month
• Ability to work irregular schedules
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds


Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
• Experience operating aircraft in aerial survey or mapping environments
• Familiarity with LiDAR systems
• Familiarity with photogrammetry systems
• Familiarity with multispectral payloads
