Description

Position Summary

The Simulator Second in Command (SIC) supports internal and external customer pilots during training events by serving as a qualified Second-in-Command in multi-crew aircraft training environments. This position maintains required qualifications and serves in Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA training programs without performing instructional duties.


Responsibilities

• Serve as Second-in-Command for customer pilots participating in multi-crew aircraft training
• Support recurrent, initial, and generic training courses within established curricula
• Maintain SIC pilot qualifications in assigned programs
• Maintain qualifications in accordance with company Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
• Maintain all required certificates, ratings, and designations
• Act as SIC in various aircraft types for Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA clients as required


Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category and class ratings
• Instrument Rating
• Minimum 450 flight hours
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Strong cockpit communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with customers
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations


Preferred Qualifications

• Second language proficiency (as required by specific training centers)
