Description

Position Summary

Seeking a CE510/CE525 (CJ3+) Instructor Pilot to provide pilot services, instruction, mentoring, and training support for single-pilot jet operators. This position combines Pilot in Command responsibilities with ground, simulator, and flight instruction while supporting client training, operational compliance, and aviation program development throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.


Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command on assigned Citation CJ3+ operations
• Conduct ground instruction, simulator instruction, flight instruction, and pilot mentoring
• Complete preflight planning and flight preparation activities
• Maintain accurate flight records, training records, and regulatory documentation
• Promote and support a strong safety culture
• Monitor weather, operational conditions, and scheduling impacts
• Ensure client qualifications and documentation remain current
• Collaborate with instructors, customer service personnel, and flight operations staff
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and passengers
• Assist in developing customized pilot training programs
• Monitor client progression and training needs
• Prepare client training schedules and support progression goals
• Maintain scheduling system accuracy and operational efficiency
• Ensure course materials and training resources are available
• Assist with database, avionics, and chart updates
• Maintain aircraft and facility presentation standards
• Attend instructor meetings, standardization meetings, and safety meetings
• Maintain records for regulatory inspections and audits
• Support client retention and business development efforts
• Assist with marketing and promotional activities as assigned
• Comply with all FAA regulations and company policies


Requirements

• ATP Certificate
• CFI Certificate
• CFII Certificate
• MEI Certificate
• CE525 Type Rating
• 5,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 Turbine Hours
• 1,000 Jet Hours
• 500 CE525 Hours
• 1,250 Hours Dual Given
• Current First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate
• Knowledge of aircraft dispatch and basic maintenance procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
• Must reside in or relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
• Authorization to work in the United States
• No history of FAA violations, accidents, or incidents resulting in certificate action

• Previous Part 142 Experience
• Corporate Aviation Experience
• CE510 Type Rating
• Experience operating in San Francisco airspace
• Experience operating in Los Angeles airspace
• Experience operating in New York airspace

• Bachelor’s Degree
