Position Summary
The Helicopter Pilot is responsible for conducting safe and efficient Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations while transporting patients and medical crews in time-critical situations. This position operates a Bell 407 and plays a vital role in delivering emergency medical care through safe flight operations and exceptional crew coordination.
Responsibilities
• Conduct safe and efficient Helicopter Air Ambulance operations
• Operate the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
• Transport patients and medical personnel in time-sensitive situations
• Maintain operational readiness and professionalism during all missions
• Coordinate effectively with medical crews, dispatch, and maintenance personnel
• Promote and support a culture of safety and operational excellence
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
• Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Rating
• Current Class I or Class II Medical Certificate
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Minimum 1,500 Hours Helicopter PIC Time
• Minimum 500 Hours Turbine Time
• Minimum 500 Hours Cross-Country Time
• Minimum 100 Hours Unaided Night Time or 50 Hours Unaided Night Time with 100 Hours Aided Night Time
Preferred Qualifications
• 2,000 Hours Total Flight Time
• NVG Experience
• Helicopter Air Ambulance Experience
• Bell 206/407 Experience
• ATP Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree
