Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.

My name is Barry Rice, and I am a Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor with approximately 620 hours of total flight time, including multi-engine, complex aircraft, mountain flying, and turbine experience. I hold a First-Class Medical Certificate and am actively seeking opportunities to begin a long-term professional flying career with an operator that values safety, professionalism, and strong work ethic.

Before aviation, I spent more than twenty years working in the construction industry operating cranes and heavy equipment in demanding environments where safety, decision-making, and personal accountability were critical every day. That experience taught me the importance of preparation, discipline, teamwork, and remaining calm under pressure—qualities I carry with me into every flight.

My flight training has provided extensive experience operating in mountainous terrain, high-density altitude environments, and busy airspace. I have also been introduced to turbine aircraft operations and continue pursuing opportunities to expand my experience and develop as a professional pilot.

I am particularly interested in survey flying, pipeline patrol, aerial observation, Part 135 operations, and other commercial flying opportunities that allow me to contribute to a professional team while continuing to build experience. I am willing to travel, relocate, work seasonally, and spend extended periods away from home when required by the operation.

Operators who hire me can expect someone who arrives prepared, works hard, learns quickly, and puts safety ahead of convenience. I understand that aviation is a profession built on trust, and I take that responsibility seriously.

I appreciate your consideration and look forward to discussing how my background and experience can contribute to your operation.

Sincerely,

Barry Rice
