Highlights

Gear Extention Emergency
June 17, 2025 While doing a routine training flight we were coming back to land at Flying Cloud Airport and only got 2 out of 3 green lights indicating our landing gear wasn't fully extended. After taking over controls and contacting tower we ran through our emergency gear extension checklist and did a low pass of the tower. They said the gear appeared down and we did everything we could in the cockpit so I went in for landing. The landing was smooth and uneventful, with the gear down indicator wire ripped in half so there was no way to tell if the gear was locked or not. By staying calm and working through the issue at hand we were able to safely get the plane down with no harm to the crew or the plane.
