My name is Kevin Wiseman, I am located outside of Houston, Texas where I live with my wife and two girls.  My journey into aviation follows a 30 year career as a professional firefighter.  In my current line of work that includes firefighter, driver, captain, and now a District Chief, I developed strong skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem solving.  I have been honored to lead a battalion of 67 men and women as for the past 11 years.   During my tenure, I have been challenged by many employee and emergency response conflicts that have required prompt decisions and actions on my part for a safe resolution.  I have also been tasked with the development of internal training standards and emergency response planning for the various industrial and commercial facilities within our response area.  These workplace challenges have forced me to evolve my management, leadership, and communication abilities to better suit the needs of a young, modern, and diverse workforce.  These experiences have prepared me to work effectively within a crew environment within a variety of normal and emergency situations.

I bring with me a solid foundation of experience gained through flight and instructing in a variety of weather conditions and operational environments.  Living and working as a flight instructor along the Texas Gulf Coast has strengthened my adaptability, judgment, and overall proficiency in flight operations. In May 2025, I successfully completed the ATP/CTP course at ATP Jets in Dallas, TX, and passed the Airline Transport Pilot Multiengine Airplane (ATM) knowledge exam. Upon completing my first type rating training, I will be eligible for an unrestricted ATP certificate.

I am seeking a permeant career home where I can continue to contribute, grow, and add value in a crew environment. This position appeals to me because of the emphasis on safety, consistency, trust and service.  I am committed to building lasting long term relationships with an organization rather than viewing this role as a transitional step.  My goal is to invest in a team where reliability, safety, and professionalism are not only priorities and are a key part of the company culture.

I am confident in my ability to work as part of any flight crew and contribute meaningfully to your team. Thank you for considering my application and reviewing my resume. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills and experiences align with the needs of your company.
