At the age of 12 I took my first airplane ride in a float plane and from that moment on I knew that I wanted to have a career in aviation. When I was 16 I started my training for my private pilot license and passed my check ride only a couple months after my 17th birthday. I grew up playing hockey and racing go karts with family where I would travel around the Midwest to different tracks and become a two time state champion.
