Aviation professional with extensive experience in both manned and unmanned flight operations, currently supporting research and development initiatives at the Northern Plains UAS Test Site. My work focuses on advancing the integration of autonomous aircraft into the National Airspace System, contributing to the future of aviation safety, efficiency, and innovation. My career blends military leadership, technical expertise, and instructional proficiency. As a former U.S. Army officer and Navy aviation electrician, I bring a unique combination of operational management, logistical planning, and tactical skills. Much of this experience was developed in overseas assignments, where I gained valuable cultural awareness through instructing foreign flight students and participating in joint operations across Korea and Europe. I hold dual degrees in Commercial Aviation and Flight Education from the University of North Dakota and maintain FAA certifications as a Commercial Pilot (Single-Engine and Multi-Engine Land) with CFI, CFII, and MEI credentials. I have taught in both Part 141 and Part 61 environments, and I continue to pursue my passion for aviation education through part-time flight instruction. Looking ahead, I am eager to expand into corporate aviation as a complementary career path while continuing to contribute to the advancement of UAS integration and aviation safety.
