My name is Louis Oosthuizen, I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. I am a fresh graduate from the American Airlines Cadet Academy completing my professional flight training at Infinity Flight Group in Ft. Pierce, FL. I am seeking a Certified Flight Instructor or any other related aviation opportunity where I can contribute immediately while continuing to grow as a professional aviator.
My background has been built around both customer service and technical responsibility. I previously worked in business aviation line service supporting private and corporate aircraft, where professionalism, communication, and attention to detail were essential when working directly with crews and clients. Earlier in my career, I served as a Superyacht engineer responsible for maintaining complex mechanical systems in demanding, time-sensitive environments. Troubleshooting systems, managing risk, and staying composed under pressure strengthened my ability to explain technical concepts clearly and make sound decisions — skills I now bring into the cockpit and classroom.
As an instructor, my goal is to create a positive, structured learning environment where students feel supported while being held to high standards of safety and professionalism. I take pride in being dependable, prepared, and adaptable, and I am eager to contribute to your school not only as an instructor, but as a mentor who represents your organization with integrity and care.
As a pilot, I bring that same work ethic, adaptability, and safety-first mindset. I am comfortable getting my hands dirty, solving problems, and stepping in wherever needed to support the operation.
